"It all started in the middle of 2002 . The journey begins with collaboration of 6 individual from Groundless Victim, Missing Rites, Foreground Division and Killed By Accident. Since many of the band mention has already call it’s quit, the 6 infinite wisdom continues their desire and intentions to produce quality music which is a mixture of rock and roll,metal and hardcore/punk. The band consist of six different individual from different place. Cassandra was the name given which reflects their passion, emotion, commitment and desire one hundred percent. Each individual in this band comes from a different background and with different personalities but with one vision and intention they manage to work together to succeed and be in the hardcore community. Each person is a musician on their own. "Malaysia isn't very known for it's music. Cassandra, a 6-piece band that combines metallic rhythms to hardcore screaming is one of the bands that are worth mentioning. I haven't heard anyone talking about this band anywhere before but when I got this album into my hands I really got surprised. This is actually really good and it shows that they can also make great metalcore in Malaysia. "Pay Us Suicide Torn And Forgotten" is the first full-length album from the band and the CD was released through Dyslexia Records.

Cassandra's album contains 7 heavy metalcore songs that reminds me of old underoath EP´s and Forever Is Forgotten. The main reason why it is so near to old Underoath are the vocal parts that sound just like underoath´s vocals sounded in their EP´s. I usually like this kind of music and this album doesn't make exception. My favourite track is "Thousand Days Torn And Forgotten" because of it´s heaviness and beautiful guitars. I also enjoy the first track in the album titled as "Dying Tulips Are Grand" because it reminds me just so much of old Underoath which is my favourite band. The whole concept is mixed really well and the sound is clear so there is nothing to complain about. "Pay Us Suicide Torn And Forgotten" is a seven song album that is tight and full of rage. Banging rhythm of the bass and drums makes this album worth listening to. Cassandra drives you to a limit of insanity with their marvelous lyrics and double guitars."
